Where do I get my drive to do art? What makes it meaningful to me? Art has always been a big part of my life, influencing me to express my own creative aspirations and voice them in the form of paintings, sketches, and drawings. I love using any medium I can get my hands on, especially new paints. My favorite underated art supply is actually oil pastel. Although messy, I find oil pastel to be a wonderful way to show texture and break down large pieces into simple shapes. Art has always been meaningful to me, but recently I have taken to making paintings of objects I hold sincere and places that I visit. Art should never have to be something that you feel compelled to do, and painting from real life has made me truly realize that.
